And Then There Were 8...

It seems our little Tucson Swap Queens group was reduced in number this month, due to one circumstance or another.  However, the 8 "eggstraordinary Queens" who participated certainly rose to the occasion!

Our theme this month was an altered egg box ~ the 6 compartment variety ~ the inspiration for which came from the lovely Cassandra.  We were "secret bunnies" to our recipients and stuck with a color theme of their choosing.

As we gathered at my home on Monday evening, once again I was blown away by the sheer genius, creativity, and artistry of each woman.  Three of our Queens were unable to attend and have not received their egg box as yet, so the only one I will identify will be mine.  So, sit back and enjoy the Easter Parade!

LET'S GIVE THESE AMAZING QUEENS A ROUND OF APPLAUSE!!
Now I'll share the decor of the season with you and the little goodies I created for these marvelous ladies...

Finally, some altered papier mache' Easter eggs which I managed to finish...

Since this is a special "midweek post," I can share a little more with you.  Yesterday our sweet Melissa celebrated her 33rd birthday.  It was extra special for her since "3" is her lucky number, this anniversary is double 3's, and she was born on a Wednesday.  We went to Hub for a fabulous dinner celebration, made extra special since Beth, a special high school friend of the girls', was working and showered us with a royal birthday treatment.

Well, that about wraps things up for me this week...As Monday begins Holy Week, I won't be posting again until April 9th.  I wish all of you a most beautiful and blessed Easter and Passover.
