Short & Sweet

Wednesday swept me off my feet with a case of VERTIGO, an ailment unbeknownst to me!

Yuck, yuck, yuck!!  I think it's a sign that I need to slow down because that's what I've been doing.  I'm disappointed as I wanted to share a special event with you, but I'm not up to typing and I really have to lay down.

My PC said it's Labyrinthine Vertigo.  He's referred me to an ENT this week as I'm not coming around as quickly as I should.

I hope to be back and "Musing" with you by next Monday.  Please hang in there with me,
dear, dear friends...
xoxo
Karen

Sweet Karen,I hope they are able to help.I have mild vertigo and when it first developed, almost six years ago,I was soooo nervous about it,but now,it's weird,I'm almost used to it and I dont fear it when it happens.I only get it when I'm lying down and look to the right...then the room begins to spin.My ENT sent me to a some sort of therapist..it was a while ago so I cant remember the exact name of the treatment...anyway,she told me to mentally stop the movement..almost like putting up a mental hand and telling it to stop.Pushing it mentally..sounds funny but it helps me.
Feel better dear friend,I know this is hard, but your a tough cookie and you will get used to it.xoxo
