February in the Desert

I truly believe that February is our busiest, most populated and exciting time in Tucson.  The Tucson Gem and Mineral Show commences at the very end of January and ends mid-February.

 Galloping into the month at mid-term is the Tucson Rodeo,

not to mention Valentine's Day and all the excitement (or not) that the holiday brings with it.

I've certainly done my part to help our economy flourish this month!  Four new jewelry classes;

Six purchasing trips to the various gem shows throughout the city;

Catching up with old friends and supporting the local food industry with many social dinners!

Then there was Broadway in Tucson ~ MOTOWN The Musical!! ~ taking us back to the 60's and beyond...awesome memories of music we'll never forget!

 We were thrilled to help celebrate the quinceanara of a dear friend's daughter, and visit with old friends and new ones!

Despite this busy schedule, I've managed to keep up with my One Little Word, finding meaning each day in "enough."  Which, amazingly, has been so enriching!

Making time now for spiritual life, family, reading, cooking, and a lot less social media as Lent approaches.

Have a beautiful month, dear friends, and thank you for sharing your time with me!
