Hello August ~ Take Me Away!

For me, summer days are filled with my art....new techniques to be learned and applied...Artful Gathering online classes... retreat to Phoenix for Art Unraveled, and gearing up for the upcoming Holiday Trunk Show in my home.

One of the online classes I took in July was Artisan's Daybook with Deryn Mentock.  I've taken a number of jewelry classes with Deryn and I absolutely LOVE her creativity, execution, and design.  She's contributed so much to my personal artistic growth.

The Artisan's Daybook will be a compendium of my design work, ideas, sketches, notes, etc.  It will also help to keep me organized and on track with my creations.  Let me show you a peek inside ~

These elements are a small part of the big picture....

The finished book!

At Artful Gathering Online Retreat I got to make bangles!

And charms!

And put them together!  Thank you, Riki Schumacher for inspiring me to forgo the "purchased" bangles, and make my own with your Boho Bangles class!

Last week, Debbie and I headed to Phoenix for Art Unraveled and Deryn's "Go Big" class....

Wow! What a class it was....I can't stop making these gorgeous big necklaces!

The ideas continue to spin in my head, and it's back to the Hive as the workbench awaits!

The lovely thing is this ~ all these ideas and buzzing will be recorded and planned in my Artisan's Daybook!

The kids are back to school, Arizona's summer storms are a reality, and I am gearing up for my hip replacement scheduled on September 23rd.

There are treats in store for me before this long-anticipated surgery and I will share them with you next month!

Have a beautiful month, dear friends, and thank you so much for your visit.
