October flew by in a myriad of activity while November succeeded in doing the same!
September 28th ~
Thankful as we headed to NY to bring our Amy home...
October 14th ~
Thankful as we celebrated Amy’ brief life, and a committal service as we laid her to rest in Tucson. Blessing us were dear friends who shared this celebration with us...
November 5th ~
Thankful to mark my 7th year in this crazy business of jewelry creations. Beginning in the most humble venue of the annual Reid Park Arts and Crafts Fair in 2011, to the comfort of my own home, each year is better than the one before.
November 11th ~
Thankful for my “Phoenix family” who blessed me with a fourth annual Holiday Trunk Show. Nancy, Ashley, and Lacey host with their hearts and in fact, in everything they do! I’ve made some wonderful friends and clients because of these lovely ladies!
November 18th ~
Thankful for the best family I could have ever wanted, who gave me the best birthday celebration EVAH! It was a night that will remain a treasure in my heart FOR-EVAH!!!
November 23rd ~
Thankful for my family, my faith, my friends, my freedom, my opportunities ~ PRICELESS!
My beloved husband has gifted me, on this my 70th birthday, one of the top items on my Bucket List! I will share this with you in the next blog post...in the meantime, enjoy the last few days of November and embrace December with all the joy and gladness you can!
This year is fast coming to a close and lets send it out with hearts that are full! Thank you so much for visiting, celebrating, and sharing your life with me!
There is no choice. We don't get to choose the gifts we are given any more than we get to choose our sufferings. If it were different, we'd certainly choose the former and not the latter. Unwittingly, we would end up sacrificing those things that change us, humble us, make us human. Forty years ago we were blessed with both sides of this coin.
This month Ron and I will embark on a long-awaited journey to New York to bring our Amy home to rest in Tucson. Oh, how we have waited for this opportunity! We have chosen to make this trip a very private one without the celebration of family visits or gathering with friends. Our choice is to make this about our baby girl.
As young parents of two lively little girls, there never seemed to be enough time or money to make this a reality. Always present in our hearts, the sense of an "incomplete" family plagued us.
Now, the time is here...we're going...and Amy is returning to her family.
A great "thank you" to O'Shea funeral home on Long Island, Holy Hope Cemetery in Tucson, our dear pastor ~ Father Patrick Crino at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, daughters Amanda and Melissa, and our dear family and friends for all their support, love, and prayers.
Please continue to keep us in your prayers as we go forth...
"For thus said the Lord God,
the Holy One of Israel: In returning and rest you shall be saved; in
quietness and in trust shall be your strength."
With tulips from my sweet hubs!
Timing is everything and timing was with me on June 1st. Having dropped my iPhone one too many times, it took a major dump! Yet, I was in and out of the Sprint store with my new iPhone 7+ in under an hour...a record, I'm sure!
The best news is that I can upgrade in 12 months...the "8" will be just months old and hopefully the "bugs" will be worked out by then. I'm only interested in that I use the camera almost exclusively for all my photos, so I'm always looking for the next best one.
Always the optimist, three days later I nearly sliced off my finger tip!
Remember...I said optimist...because I only took off a quarter of the fingernail, and it was my left hand. Well, within 4 days I was out of the bulbous white bandage and sporting a nice fabric Band-Aid. I'll spare you the gory details, but if it's something you just gotta see, head over to my Facebook page...there's a nice one there!
(Some of you might remember the lovely job I did on my finger on Easter Sunday a few years back...I captured it in a blog post.)
A BIG highlight this month was a Coronado Island getaway for Art Retreat at the Beach
...an "Artist in Residence" workshop with the extremely talented Robert Lopez! Thank you Barb and Erin and the vivi magoo productions team for making this possible!
It was PROCESS...

This was an amazing learning experience for me, and the topping on the cake was the group of new friends I made!
It's 100+ degrees here in Tucson and we've been breaking all kinds of temperature records. So, that being said, I will take my leave AND I'm....
Have a safe and wonderful summer, and see you in September!
